| The
Session would like to ask that when submitting a Prayer Request for an
individual, be sure to let the church office know the reason for the
request -- e.g. recovering from surgery/illness/injury;
dealing
with a personal loss; facing a chronic illness; serving overseas in the
military, etc. This will make our prayers more specific and
will
enable us to write cards that are more unique to the person for whom
prayers are offered. Thank you in advance! |
| One of
the programs that the Deacons
have
organized is a "Food Chain" which provides meals to those in our
congregation
who are temporarily physically unable to prepare meals for themselves,
or their families, due to illness. If we can have many
members in
the "chain", then the need to provide frequent meals is reduced to a
minimum
(this is one situation where too many cooks do not spoil
the
broth).
Please think about joining our "Food Chain"- you can leave your name
and
phone number with the Church Secretary in the Church office (973)
827-6444)),
or on the sign-up sheet at the rear of the sanctuary. |
